Oliver Patch Project began little more than a year ago and has come so far. At the end of 2021, just three months into sending out jackets, 30 children had enrolled in the program.
Today, December 14th, 2022, there are 480 OPP Warriors. Our goal for 2023 is to help over 1000 kids and their family… and we need your help!

Our Mission
The Oliver Patch Project (OPP) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation whose mission is to create a free, fun, engaging platform where children with childhood cancers and their families can connect through a series of unique patches created by artists and designers just for them.
We empower kids to find their inner warriors, as they endure life changing milestone events, by providing a bit of sunshine throughout their cancer journey.
The project is currently open to children and teens in the United States undergoing active treatment for cancer, is supported by donations, and all the fun is provided to our Warriors 100% free of charge.
We believe in the power of positivity to promote healing.
How it Works
The process to empower our Warriors is simple and fun. Kids are given their first OPP intro patch by their Doctor, Nurse or Child Life Specialist. The magic QR code provides them with information on how to join the project online through the OPP website. Within the Warrior Login Portal, they will create their account and then the fun begins! Patches of Positivity (POP)
After enrollment in the project, each Warrior will receive a new patch each month for the next year. All of this is provided to them free of charge through donations to the Oliver Patch Project. This project empowers kids to find their inner warrior, as they endure life changing events no child should ever have to face.

Areas of Support
Milestone boxes for 200 Warriors: $5,000 donation
With every Warrior jacket or tote bag sent to a child, a care giver receives a box of milestone patches with thirteen of the bravest and strongest animals representing the most common medical milestones each child will face while in treatment. Each of the thirteen patches have a QR code leading to fun informative videos supporting each Warrior every step of the way. You can see an example of one of our milestone videos here.
ROD (Return on Donation): 1 - Each of the 200 milestone boxes will have a sticker acknowledging Zen Business as our official milestone box sponsor. 2 - The Zen Business logo will be added to the Oliver Patch Project “Sponsors and Partners” webpage. 3 - Zen Business will be tagged and @mentioned in the Oliver Patch Project social media channels when these Milestone Boxes are present.
Warrior Box Shipping Angel for 500 Warriors: $10,000 donation
In 2022 we mailed out 500 garments and milestone box sets to kids and families in over 45 states. As our Welcome Warrior Shipping Angel, a donation of $10,000 will cover the mailing costs for our next 500 warriors.
ROD (Return on Donation): 1 - With each box send to our Warriors a custom sticker will be placed on the outside of each box acknowledging Zen Business as our amazing shipping angel! 2 - The Zen Business logo will be added to the Oliver Patch Project “Sponsors and Partners” webpage. 3 - Zen Business will be tagged and @mentioned in the Oliver Patch Project social media channels when these Warrior Welcome Boxes are present.
Sponsor 50 Warriors for their one year tenure in Oliver Patch Project: $15,000 donation
This level of sponsorship provides each Warrior with all the components of their Oliver Patch Project experience: Welcome Warrior Box including Jacket or Tote Bag with 20 of their favorite patches custom curated with embroidered nickname, milestone box set; 12 months of Patches of Positivity (POP) monthly cards with patches and creative support content; as well as all shipping charges.
ROD (Return on Donation): 1 - Each of the 50 Welcome Warrior Boxes, Milestone Boxes, and Patches of Positivity monthly cards will don a custom sticker as well as an insert card stating that their OPP experience has been sponsored by the loving people at Zen Business. 2 - The Zen Business logo will be added to the Oliver Patch Project “Sponsors and Partners” webpage. 3 - Zen Business will be tagged and @mentioned in the Oliver Patch Project social media channels as garments and cards are received by their Warriors.
